It’s GDPR day

Have you noticed all these privacy policy updates in your mailbox lately? Of course you have! That’s because today – May 25, 2018 – is the official day when the GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation – goes into effect. In Europe, but not only.

Starting now, every single organization around the world making business with EU citizens has to comply with GDPR, a new set of regulations that places new restrictions on how companies handle their customers’ personal data.

So yeah. If you run a business based in the US that has customers in Europe, you should care big time. Because you’ll still need to comply with the new regulations.
